Friends of the Library
Friends Honored at Board of Trustees Meeting

Friends of the Library are very special volunteers who give of their time and efforts in support of the Library. Join the Friends group and become part of an active, committed group of supporters who believe an excellent Library makes a difference in their lives and the lives of their communities.

Pick up a membership form at the Library or call Deborah Liptak, Development Dept., at (330) 744-8636, ext. 118. The Friends provide an invaluable support to the Library through:

• Fundraising activities to benefit the Library and help focus public attention on Library services, facilities & needs.
• Advocacy of library issues.
• Financial support and hosts for special occasions at the Library.
• Refreshments, prizes and/or gifts for Library functions.
• Sponsorship for special entertainment for children's activities.
• Inexpensive books for avid readers through book carts & the Friends of PLYMC Bookstore, located in Poland Library.
• And much more!

Visit the Friends of PLYMC Bookstore, located in the lower level of Poland Library.

This lovely bookstore & gift shop benefits all public libraries in Mahoning County. Owned and operated by the Friends of PLYMC, this store serves as one of their main fundraisers. Dedicated volunteers staff the store. Your purchases help improve the quality of library service throughout the county.

Mystery Group Meeting
The C.S.I.-Y'town group is open to all area readers, writers and fans of murder mysteries, cozies, whodunits, hard-boiled detective fiction, historical mysteries, psychological thrillers, suspense fiction, police procedurals, supernatural thrillers, crime capers or other mystery genres
