camp writing3rd Annual Creative Writing Camp

Kids entering grades 5-8, join us for the 3rd Annual Creative Writing Camp. Each 2-hour session will be filled with writing prompts, writing games, group activities, and lots of quiet time for writing. On Friday, parents are encouraged to attend a gala with each child reading an excerpt of their work. Grades 5 - 8 only.

camp dramaDrama Camp

Join us for five days of fun! We will discuss the history of theater and its main components. We will also stage, rehearse, and perform a show. ATTENDANCE FOR ALL 5 DAYS IS REQUIRED. Family and friends are invited to enjoy the show on the last day of camp, Fri., June 19th. Showtime at 11 a.m. followed by refreshments. For tweens and teens in grades 4-8.

camp puppetPuppet Camp: Wacky World of Puppets

Explore the wacky world of puppets at the library’s week long puppet camp. We will build and learn to work with a variety of puppets including sock, stick and glove puppets, masks, and more. On Fri., July 17, we will host a 3 p.m. performance for the public featuring the puppets that the campers have built. For ages 10-17. Puppet Camp is being held in collaboration with Youngstown State University Theater Department.
