This site is an information source that helps low income people find assistance programs to help afford their medications. Additional resources include information on free and low cost clinics.

Prescription drug card to lower drug costs for those who quality.

Partnership for Prescription Assistance
Helps qualifying persons without prescription coverage get medicines for free or nearly free.

Prescription Hope
Prescription assistance for low income, uninsured or underinsured people.  Medication comes directly from the manufacturer for $18.00 per prescription per month with a yearly enrollment fee of $20.00.


Other Programs 

Burial Assistance

Grants for burial costs.  Includes information from the U.S. department of veteran affairs, FEMA and Social Security.

This caregiver support site provides information on resources to help cover some burial expenses.

Information on the VA cash benefit that can be applied as partial payment for burial or cremation.

Youngstown City Health District, Environmental Health District, Charity Burial Program
A fixed amount provided for indigent individuals who have died in Youngstown, bodies are unclaimed and family is indigent.
