Library Building and Renewal Projects
An effective public library, which changes to meet the lifelong learning needs of area residents, lies at the core of any vibrant community. Although books continue to be mainstay, changes in technology, increases in circulation, programming, and the shifting needs of library users has prompted the Board of the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County and staff to evaluate the Library's ability to meet the community's growing needs. With continued support and involvement from the public, the Library has and will continue to undertake projects to provide larger and better facilities in order to increase the library's role as a center of culture, education, and community in the Youngstown and Mahoning County. more>>
