Development Administrative Assistant

We are now accepting applications for a permanent, part-time Development Administrative Assistant. This person will perform a wide variety of tasks providing clerical and backup support to the Development Director.

Job Duties: General and varied office work including filing, answering phones and directing calls, data entry, and general correspondence.  Additional duties may include scheduling appointments, set-up and teardown at events, and gathering and distributing supplies.

Hours: Monday through Thursday working a minimum of 22 hours per week. An occasional night or weekend may be required for special events and projects.

Requirements: Associate degree or trade school course in computer and office skills preferred. Three to five years of directly related office experience.  Experience with Development software a plus. Must be able to type 30 WPM, have good computer skills, and have the ability to learn DonorPerfect software. Experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel is required. Must have strong people skills, good written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Starting rate is $13.44 per hour with excellent benefits.
