The First Chapters book for the week of June 22-28 is Aladdin And Other Favorite Arabian Nights Stories by Philip Smith. The first chapter of the story is called Aladdin and the Wonderful LampAladdin is part of a story from long ago and is one of the original Arabian Nights tales. This tale originated in the Middle East. In the 1700s, Antoine Gallard wrote this tale in French. There are many variations of this story, however, the most popular version is the one seen through the movies.

The Take and Make craft for this week is a magical wish bottle.  Please call the library at 330-259–3399 to request Aladdin books and craft materials from curbside service.
