¡Hola! Welcome to the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County’s Spanish 101 blog series! Here you will find some wonderful resources, book suggestions and activities to help you and your little ones learn Spanish and have fun while doing it. 

This week, we are so happy to see everything start to bloom that we thought it a perfect time to learn some Spring related words! Marnie is the Austintown Unit Assistant Supervisor & Youth Services Team Leader. She was born in Havana, Cuba, and grew up in northeast Ohio where she loved going to the library so much that she knew it was the career for her. When she’s not reading whatever she can get her hands on, she can be found trying new recipes, going for a hike or enjoying a good movie.
