We invite you to take a walk and read a book at the Boardman, East, Michael Kusalaba, or Poland branch of the library. Each branch has a different story so you can visit them all! These story trails are a great way for children (and their adults!) to enjoy the outdoors and reading at the same time.
The pages of the story are mounted on numbered signs. Simply walk from sign to sign to read and talk about the picture book. It is so important that kids continue reading throughout the summer and we’re happy to offer this interactive way to practice reading skills while enjoying the outdoors! Have fun, and if you share your Story Trail photos online, tag us at LibraryMahoningCounty and #PLYMCStoryTrail. We’d love to see them! Don’t forget that you can count these stories as part of your Summer Discovery Bingo Card.
