Back to Work: Ohio Means Jobs – Save an Occupation
Last week, we took the Ohio Means Jobs Guided Tour through the Career Profile.
Let’s once again go to the Ohio Means Jobs account page by clicking here and then clicking “Sign In“, which you will see in the upper right corner by the backpack.
Now that you are signed back in, Click on “Take the Guided Tour.”
As you see, the tour now shows that Step 2 was successfully completed.
This week, we move on to the third step of the tour, Step 3: Save an Occupation, in order to continue completing all the steps to gain the full benefits from your Ohio Means Jobs account.
Click on “Save an Occupation,” and you will see the screenshot below:
Once you get to this screen, you can search a variety of ways in order to “save an occupation.”
For example, I will use the “Industry Search” feature. See picture below:
Once you do this, the job occupation will be saved to your Backpack. You can do this step 10 times. The more “save an occupations” you do, the more likely a potential employer or recruiter may find you.
This concludes the “Save an Occupation” step of the Ohio Means Jobs Guided Tour.
