Celebrate National Girlfriend Day, August 1!

Two girl friends laughing and embracing each other

August 1 is the day to celebrate your female friends!  What better way to celebrate “Girl Power” than to watch movies and read insightful books on friendship.  Tell your sisters, best friends, mothers, daughters, grandmothers, co-workers, and transgender friends how important they are to you! Girlfriends make us laugh, they share, encourage, and advise you.  They can also be there to lend a sympathetic hand and may tell us what we don’t want to hear!
