Boardman Library to Close Temporarily While Renovation Continues

BOARDMAN (September 16, 2015) – The Boardman Library, 7680 Glenwood Ave., will close temporarily beginning Monday, September 28, as the renovation project continues. This temporary closing was anticipated when the renovation began and involves work that cannot be done if the library is open, such as the front entrance and sidewalks, replacing bathrooms, floor work and more on the front end of the building.

Boardman Library is expected to be closed for several weeks. A reopening date will be announced once it is set.

Due dates will be extended on items checked out at Boardman Library that would have been due back during this closed period.  Extended use fees for items checked out at Boardman Library will not accrue during the days the branch is closed.

Book drops will be available outside the Boardman Library during the closing.

And, as always, materials can be checked out and/or returned at any of the other public libraries in the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County system. The closest libraries to Boardman are the Newport and Poland branches.
