From the Children’s Hunger Alliance website:

“Founded in 1970, Children’s Hunger Alliance is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to ending childhood hunger. We partner with organizations throughout Ohio to provide nutritious meals to at-risk children who need them most.” []

“Over 700,000 – or 1 in 4 – children in Ohio struggle with hunger. For many of these children, summer is even a more challenging time without access to school and afterschool meals.
At Children’s Hunger Alliance, we are committed to providing healthy meals to kids year-round, especially during the summer break in a time when families are recovering from the pandemic.”  []
