Library Will Seek Proposals for Architect for Campbell Library Space

YOUNGSTOWN (August 1, 2017/For Immediate Release) – The Board of Trustees, Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County, met in a special session August 1, at Main Library, and voted to authorize the interim director to request proposals for architectural design services for the space the library will lease inside the Campbell Schools Activity, Recreation and Cultural Center (ARCC). The Building and Sites Committee was authorized to review and award the contracts.

The following motions were unanimously approved at today’s meeting:

– motion to authorize the interim director to request proposals for professional design services to develop the premises space and design criteria for the leased space in the Campbell ARCC facility and to authorize the Building & Sites Committee to review these proposals and award the contract.

-motion to give the fiscal officer the authority to place and open bids for the landscaping at the Michael Kusalaba branch, and to authorize the Building & Sites Committee to review these and award the contracts.

-motion to give the fiscal officer the authority to place and open bids for casework at the Michael Kusalaba branch, and to authorize the Building & Sites Committee to review these and award the contracts.
