Spring Tea by Canfield Friends is May 19

The Friends of the Library Canfield Committee will host a Spring Tea in the Canfield Library meeting room at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 19. The event features James McClellan, vocalist, and Tyler Guerrieri, guitarist, presenting “Two on a Song,” a selection of pop, standards, and show tunes. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person.

Proceeds are benefit children’s programming at the Library. Tea sandwiches and sweets will be served with the tea, catered by A La Cart. Bringing your favorite teacup is optional. There will be a basket raffle and 50/50, as well.

The Friends of the Library Canfield Committee invites all to enjoy the many benefits of the Library. New members are welcome at future meetings in the Canfield Library at 1:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of June, September, and October. An autumn event will be planned. The group is a committee of the Friends of PLYMC, a countywide non-profit organization that raises support and awareness, and advocates for the programs, services, and needs of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC).
