Main Library Renovation Input
Give Us Your Thoughts on the Renovation of Main Library
As part of the strategic planning process at the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County (PLYMC), the renovation of the historic Main Library is in its beginning phases. Main Library is one of America’s Carnegie Libraries.
The Library is seeking input from interested citizens and is holding two input meetings, open to the public and to be held inside the Main Library, 305 Wick Ave., in October.
The public is invited to help shape the Main Library renovation project. Attendees at the public input meetings will hear ideas from Library staff and other patrons. You’ll have an opportunity to share your own thoughts about how to improve your Library!
Meetings will be held at Main Library, 305 Wick Ave., Youngstown, as follows:
Thursday, October 25, at 6 p.m.
Tuesday, October 30, at 8 a.m.
If you are unable to attend a meeting, you can provide your input by completing and submitting this form. Online comments will be taken until Saturday, November 24.
Library Executive Director Aimee Fifarek and Library Trustees are looking for input to identify what people like to see included in the facility “in order to help make the Main Library as attractive and responsive to the community as possible.”
