The Career & Job Center (CJC) is located at the Brownlee Woods branch. The space adds another aspect to the Library’s work with businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals in areas of jobs, career development, and business growth.

The Center is used for programming and one-on-one consultations with librarians.


Career & Job Center and Business Support Appointments:

Schedule AppointmentThe Brownlee Woods branch library offers by-appointment Career and Job Center and Business Support services and will have a librarian available by appointment to help people search for jobs, use job resources, and much more.

The Brownlee Woods Library will also have 4 public access computers for general use. Brownlee Woods – (some services by appointment only) Mon. through Thurs., 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and Fri. and Sat., 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (capacity 19) Patrons can reach a live librarian by calling 330-744-8636 for reference questions or other questions about the Library.


Career and Job CenterJudy Jones is a certified Career Facilitator.  She has worked with many patrons over the past three years assisting them in writing effective resumes and cover letters.  She has guided individuals through the online job application process and has helped them register for Ohio Means Jobs.
