America 250-Ohio Update

On July 4, 2026, the United States will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Leading up to this momentous occasion, The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC) is offering programs and activities throughout 2026 to celebrate!

Share Your Story! Oral History Project

The countywide Share Your Story! Oral History Project is underway at PLYMC. We have been collecting short recorded interviews from community members to preserve and share on our Digital Archive. If you would like to participate in this project, complete the contact form online or at a PLYMC branch. Someone will be in contact with you set up an interview.
