Consider Donating to Reuben McMillan’s Legacy Capital Campaign for Main

The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County has connected, enriched, and inspired the people of the Mahoning Valley since 1880. 30 years after our founding, generous donations of community leaders and philanthropists like steel magnate Andrew Carnegie en- abled our area to have its first purpose-built library. Main Library has stood at the corner of Wick and Rayen ever since, a testament to the power of combining public and private funds.

Today, you can continue our community’s philanthropic tradition by donating to the Reuben McMillan Legacy Campaign.

Whether you want to support workforce development, culinary literacy, or reading and children’s programming, you can add your name to the list of those who have followed Carnegie’s mantra:

“No man becomes rich without himself enriching others.”

Be part of Mahoning County history. Donate to the Reuben McMillan Legacy Capital Campaign today.
