Summer Discovery is a free programs for all ages. Track your reading, earn a prize book, and attend fun programs all summer long! Keep track of the number of days you read using the paper log or by downloading the ReadSquared app.
How to Sign Up
Registration is required to participate in Summer Discovery. There are three ways to register.
- Visit your local PLYMC branch.
- Call us at 330.744.8636.
- Register on ReadSquared through a web browser, opens a new window or download the app for Apple, opens a new window and Android, opens a new window devices. Already have a ReadSquared account? Log in here, opens a new window. If you signed up online for last year's program, please use the same account information to log in.
Receive a tote bag when you sign up! Collect a button from each PLYMC branch to put on your bag. Items available while supplies last.
How it Works
All ages are invited to participate!
Track your reading with a paper log (available at all PLYMC locations) or ReadSquared.
Read 45 days between May 26 and July 31 to complete the program and earn a prize book!

Prizes and Drawings
Completion Prize
Earn a prize book when you read for 45 days between May 26 and July 31.
Bring your completed paper log in to any PLYMC branch to order your book or place your order through ReadSquared. Books must be ordered by August 15.
We will contact you when your book arrives to your branch and is available for pick up.
Raffle Drawings
Enter a raffle each time you visit a PLYMC branch. Prizes will vary based on location. Drawings will take place at the end of summer.
Group Registration
Make the library part of your summer program! Read together each day your group meets to earn a free book for each participant.
