The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC) To Hold East Library Renovation Celebration on September 15 from 5 – 7 PM.

PLYMC Celebrates the Renovations at East Library.  The Library invites the public to come and look around at the new updates, enjoy refreshments at Ziggy's Lemonade truck and visit with various animals at the petting zoo along with pony rides provided by Pony Time Ranch.

"Renovations at East Library not only address long-standing water problems but also provide new and improved meeting spaces much in demand across the County," said Aimee Fifarek, PLYMC Director and CEO. "These upgrades get us closer to our goal of ensuring that our libraries will effectively serve our communities for decades to come."  added Fifarek.

According to Jordan Shaver, PLYMC COO, “The Renovation was not only necessary but was cost effective coming in roughly $40,000 under budget.”
