The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC) will hold Read Ins for Intellectual Freedom in June to celebrate Pride Month. Attendees are encouraged to read, share and discover works by or about the LGBTQ+ community. Refreshments will be provided.
“Libraries stand for the freedom to read and the right to belong.” Said Chief Experience Officer Erin Phemester. “This Pride Month, we continue our work to create welcoming spaces and ensure access to stories that reflect the full diversity of our community. Join us at a Pride Month Read-In to celebrate and discover stories that reflect you.”
