Upcoming Changes to the Hours at Various PLYMC Branches

YOUNGSTOWN—Hours will be changing at various Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC) branches in the next few weeks:

  • Starting on Monday, October 31, the Michael Kusalaba branch will extend its hours. The new hours will be Monday-Thursday from 9:00 am-8:00 pm and Friday-Saturday from 9:00 am-5:30 pm.  
  • On Wednesday, November 2, all PLYMC branches will be closed to the public for an in-service day for Library employees. Library branches will reopen at their regularly scheduled times on Thursday, November 3. 
  • On Tuesday, November 8, the Tri-Lakes branch will reopen to the public on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:00 pm-5:30 pm.

The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC) has served the Mahoning Valley since 1880 when the Youngstown Library Association was officially created.
