Friends of the Library
Friends of the Library are very special volunteers who give of their time and efforts in support of the Library. Join the Friends group and become part of an active, committed group of supporters who believe an excellent Library makes a difference in their lives and the lives of their communities.
The Friends provide an invaluable support to the Library through:
• Fundraising activities to benefit the Library and help focus public attention on Library services, facilities & needs.
• Advocacy of library issues.
• Financial support and hosts for special occasions at the Library.
• Refreshments, prizes and/or gifts for Library functions.
• Sponsorship for special entertainment for children’s activities.
• Inexpensive books for avid readers through book carts & the Friends of PLYMC Bookstore, located in Poland Library.
• And much more!

Celebrate Poland! Book Sale and Local Author and Musician Event
Visit the Friends of PLYMC Book Store inside the Poland Library during Celebrate Poland from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sat., June 29, for a half-off sale! The public is invited to a Friends of PLYMC event for local authors and musicians on the patio from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Local authors and musicians who would like to participate can contact the Library’s Development Department at 330-744-6086 to reserve a spot at no cost.)
