Weekly Two-Person Budget Meal Plan

Planning meals while on a budget can get frustrating but it doesn't have to be! Our Community Wellness & Health Literacy Specialist, Rachael, has prepared a weekly two-person meal plan based on a $100 trip to Aldi.

One of Rachael’s favorite budgeting hacks? Start your shopping at local discount grocery stores in order to get the bulk of your items at lower prices. Just make sure to check the expiration dates on items as some bargain outlets don't pay close attention.

Farmers markets are another great way to source local, fresh, and affordable produce. Food pantries can also be an excellent resource for stocking your pantry.

Protein tip: Look for a local farmer who sells eggs – they're typically free-range and much cheaper than buying from the store!
