PLYMC Celebrates Giving Tuesday

YOUNGSTOWN – The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC) is celebrating Giving Tuesday on Tuesday, November 29.

The Library depends on our generous donors whose financial gifts help us innovate and adapt our services, grow our collections, and renovate Library spaces. That’s why, as part of the worldwide #GivingTuesday movement, we’re asking our supporters to donate to the Library.

This year, supporters can choose from a variety of Library services to direct their gift:

·         Supplies for our Culinary Literacy Kitchen

·         Support Adult Programming

·         Support Teen Programming

·         Advance and Expand our Technology Capabilities

These gifts bring tangible changes at the Library that everyone in the community can enjoy.

Not familiar with Giving Tuesday? This global day of giving takes place each year on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving.  It’s meant to follow Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday as a time to donate to non-profits in the midst of holiday shopping.
