PLYMC Summer Discovery Registration Now Open

YOUNGSTOWN—Registration for the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County (PLYMC)’s annual Summer Discovery program is now open. This year’s theme is “Oceans of Possibilities”, and the program will run through July 31. Patrons can register on PLYMC’s website: https://www.libraryvisit.org/summer-discovery/

The program is free and open to all ages. Participants can earn two points a day by spending time every day during the challenge reading a book, visiting the Library, enjoying a Library program or service, or participating in an additional activity like trying new food. Participants track their progress on a Book Log and those who earn 15 points or more can receive prizes. Participating families are invited to an End of Summer Beach Party on Saturday, August 13 at Main Library.
