Help Scientists Find Clouds on Mars

While it doesn’t involve round-trip travel to the Red Planet, a crowdsourcing project to help identify cloud formations on Mars is being offered by NASA. The public can help NASA track Martian clouds using data from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO). It is hoped that by analyzing the fine and feathery clouds seen on Mars today, scientists can explain why the planet lost most of its thick former atmosphere.
