City of Youngstown Health Department Nursing Director Theresa Sanchez said, ““Vaccines are an important part of keeping our families healthy and protecting our community from serious illnesses. We’re excited to partner together to make these services more accessible and bring them directly to the families who need them. At the same time, we’ll also be offering free lead testing for families. We feel this is a wonderful opportunity to provide families with another important health resource and help give parents peace of mind about the health and safety of their children and homes. Our goal is simple — to make it a little easier for families to access important health services, information, and support right here in our own community. When we work together and make these resources available to families where they live, work, and gather, we can make a meaningful difference in the health and well-being of our community.”

"We are pleased to be able to once again partner with YCD in their efforts to safeguard the health and well-being of Youngstown Residents.” Said Director and CEO Aimee Fifarek, “The PLYMC is at its best when we can help other organizations achieve their mission while never losing sight of our own."  Fifarek continued.
