The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC)’s Culinary Literacy Center highlights Tomatoes, Honey, Sandwiches with classes throughout August.
Culinary Literacy Director Amy Spencer said “Our programs bring together new and returning participants with different levels of experience and a wide range of goals. Some want to learn a specific technique, while others hope to reduce their food expenses or simply feel more confident in the kitchen,” Spencer continued “There are many things I love about my job, but some of my favorite moments are watching returning patrons build on the skills they have learned in previous programs and become more confident in the kitchen over time.”
All Culinary Literacy programs are free to the public. Visit www.libraryvisit.org, opens a new window for more information on all of PLYMC’s programming.
