The Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County is partnering with the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program to offer three free Medicare 101 programs in August

Will you be eligible for Medicare soon? Are you on Medicare but still have questions? Do you help a family member with Medicare issues? Learn about Medicare Part A and Part B benefits, the prescription drug benefit (Part D), Medicare Advantage plans, and Medicare Supplement Insurance. 

This event, presented by the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP), is a service of the Ohio Department of Insurance and is held at The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County. 

“Understanding Medicare can feel overwhelming, especially with so many enrollment options. We are so excited to partner with OSHIIP to provide our community with free and reliable information from trusted experts so attendees can make informed choices about their health coverage,” said Stephanie Brickell, PLYMC Adult & Intergenerational Specialist for Family Engagement.

The Medicare 101 programs will be held at the following locations:
