June 2026 Resource Spotlight: Summer Discovery Resources

Summer reading programs are taking place at libraries and bookstores nationwide, and Summer Discovery is underway at PLYMC! Readers of all ages are invited to participate.

This year, the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP), a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping libraries promote summer reading, has chosen “Unearth a Story” as the national theme. It encourages exploration of the past, discoveries about the Earth, ancient civilizations, dinosaurs, and much more.

For library users, it opens the door to a wide variety of resources and opportunities for learning.
